FAQs
What are your hours?
Phone calls are answered Monday – Friday from 10 am – 5 pm. That said, we are currently a small organization and staff sometimes have mandatory personal and family commitments. If we miss your call, we will absolutely call you back. Thanks for your understanding! Feel free to email us anytime at info@artsplaytheatre.org – we often return emails outside of traditional working hours.
Where are you located?
We don’t have our own location: we work with other community organizations to offer programming all over South Jersey, especially in Camden County. If you are interested in bringing a class or a workshop to your location, please contact us at info@artsplaytheatre.org.
What is your upcoming programming and where is it located?
Pretend With Me will be held at DanceSport Studios and ZZ Dance on Wednesday mornings in July and August.
Summer Arts Play Theatre Camp will be July 20 - August 7, also at ZZ Dance.
More details about the classes are on our "Home" page and our "Programming" page.
We are also offering several workshops and performances at nearby community organizations and schools. If you have questions about a program's location, parking and/or accessibility, please email info@artsplaytheatre.org for more information.
Are there any classes available right now?
Yes!
Summer Arts Play Theatre Camp for students entering Grade 1-5 has limited space available for this summer.
We are offering Pretend With Me sessions on Wednesday mornings this summer at DanceSport Studio in Marlton, and ZZ Dance in Cherry Hill.
If you have further questions about these programs, please visit our "Programming" page or email info@artsplaytheatre.org.
Is one adult allowed to bring multiple children to a Pretend With Me class?
Yes!
If multiple children are within the age range for the program, please register each child individually so we make sure that each child can get their own set of supplies.
If you are bringing an additional child that is younger or older than the class age range, they are more than welcome to attend and participate at their level. Please register all children over one year of age. Babies are welcome but do not need to be registered.
Is it okay to attend multiple Pretend With Me sessions?
You are welcome to join us as frequently as you would like. Each class has a similar structure but different props and activities. You can join us just once, or we can be a regular weekly activity!
Are your programs accessible for individuals with disabilities?
Individuals with physical or mental accessibility needs can fully participate in our programs. If you are looking to register someone who requires any sort of accommodations, we encourage you to reach out to us in advance so we can be prepared to welcome them. Please email info@artsplaytheatre.org.
Pretend With Me sessions are Pay-What-You-Decide. What is that?
When you register for a Caregiver and Me Play Date, you can choose whatever amount you want to pay between $0 - $20, no questions asked. We want our programs to be financially accessible to all who want to attend.
If your financial situation is such that you can make a payment to Arts Play Theatre at the time of registration (or any time), that would be greatly appreciated. Our suggested contribution is $15 per child. Our programs are made possible due to a combination of individual contributions and grant funding.
