We collect information that you volunteer to give the organization, including but not limited to your name, address, email address, phone number, and payment information like a credit card number and billing address. This information is often obtained by Arts Play Theatre when you register for a program or donate online. As such, we may also collect personal information about a minor that is provided by a parent or legal guardian for the purposes of program registration and participation. Additionally, if you provide Arts Play Theatre with a signed photo / video release, we may take photos / videos at an event. These photos / videos may be shared with you, other participants or third parties.
How do we use your personal information, and with whom is your personal information shared?
The personal information we collect is used internally by our staff and is shared with third parties that are involved with our event registration, donor database, website management, data back-ups, and mail processing. Third parties do not have the right to use your personal information beyond what is necessary in assisting us as we provide our services to you.
If you supply Arts Play Theatre with your postal address or email address you may receive periodic paper or electronic mailings from us. You have the ability to opt out of these mailings. You may also receive mailings from other related organizations in the area.
We reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law, and when we believe that disclosing your information is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
What security procedures do we have in place to protect your personal information?
Arts Play Theatre’s website is secured using a Let’s Encrypt Certificate.
All donations or event registrations done through Arts Play Theatre’s website are handled by Kindful (a Bloomerang Product). In addition, if you provide Arts Play Theatre with any personal information, you give us permission to enter it into our CRM (Bloomerang) or our online fundraising system (Kindful). How do you update your personal information or opt out of certain forms of communication from Arts Play Theatre?
You can update your personal information by emailing info@artsplaytheatre.org or calling (856) 290-7570 and letting us know what changes you would like to make. A member of our staff will take care of any necessary changes.
If you would like to opt out of certain forms of communication, you may email or call us and let us know what changes you would like to make. You may also click the links at the bottom of an email from us to either unsubscribe to that form of communication or to manage your email preferences.
Photo and Video Releases
We will often take photos or videos at events to share with participants or use in marketing and grants. Photos or videos used for marketing may be featured on Arts Play Theatre’s website, social media, or printed materials, or they may be shared with other organizations, publications, and/or community partners. We will only use / share a photo or video if everyone in the photo / video whose face is visible has a signed photo release on file. If a participant is under 18 years old, a legal parent or guardian must sign the photo release on their behalf. You may revoke permission for us to use a photo / video by emailing us at info@artsplaytheatre.org or by calling us at (856) 290-7570. Please note that permission can only be revoked for future use and distribution of photos / videos, and does not apply to photos / videos that have already been used or shared, as long as all privacy policies were adhered to at the time of usage / sharing.
Changes to the Privacy Practices
As Arts Play Theatre grows and changes, we may use personal information for unanticipated purposes not previously detailed in our privacy policy. If our practices regarding personal information change, we will edit our privacy policy accordingly and post our updated policy on our website.
